Casey Marks is a New York City-based designer whose love of fashion began as a child by flipping through fashion magazines with her mother. It didn't take long for Casey to develop her own style—colorful, feminine, fun, classic, and a little cheeky—which is today evidenced by her eponymous label.
Not always a designer, but always in fashion, Marks is a veteran of ELLE and TEEN VOGUE, where she worked until the birth of her son. One day, five years later, she decided to make him a pair of pants. She bought a sewing machine and taught herself to sew. She then decided to make something for herself.
Her first original creation was the Eugenie. Each time she wore one of her dresses, strangers stopped her in the street, and friends started placing orders. With too many to fulfill, Marks sought professional help in New York City's Garment District where all her dresses are made.
Marks’s creations are versatile, effortless, and chic. Whether you're headed to the office, playground, dinner or beach, in Casey Marks, you'll always be "dressed."
Marks lives in New York City with her husband, son, daughter, and gecko.
